Heir of Elsschot in premiere

Heir of Elsschot by Suzanne Raes had its premiere this month in Antwerp, on March 4th in the Museum of Comtemporary Art.

The film tells the story of the Flemish writer Willem Elsschot (pseudonym for Alfons De Ridder) through that of his heirs. Although Elsschots work is extremely biographical, he always did his best to keep his writing separate from his family life.
