Grand Prize for The Hermitage Dwellers at FIFA

The Hermitage Dwellers by Aliona van der Horst won the Grand Prize at the International Festival of Films on Art in Montreal, Canada.
On March 19th, the festival awarded Aliona van der Horst's The Hermitage Dwellers with the award for best film. The Hermitage Dwellers is a film about the employees of the Hermitage museum in St. Petersburg. The film uses these so-called ''Hermitage-niks'' to illustrate the art, rooms and history of what was once the czar's Winter Palace.
